Two And A Half Men Still On TV!
I always liked the show because of Jon Cryer I thought Charlie Sheen was replacable.
I don't like Charlie Sheen as the actor he has become. His earlier work is much better.
After Ashon Kutcher came on board I zap away after 2 minutes. I never thought the series would last and I dropped it.
I must admit the series is not the same anymore. It was better with Charlie Sheen, even with his lousy acting.
I thought the series was over after Jake got out of the series! Then tonight I notice on Yahoo news Mila Kunis is in the new epsiode.
They are not two and half men anymore , it's just Cryor and Kutcher. How does that work?
BTW. I don't have the channel that aired this series anymore. So I have no idea if the series got better.
Did it get better?

I can't watch sitcoms anymore. Not traditional American ones with laugh tracks anyway. I use to love them, but something about them bugs me now. Strange.
I've never watched this show.

I thought the same, that without Charlie it would be pants but I have to say that it does get better as the status quo settles in. And Jake gets replaced by Charlie's daughter that nobody knew about who is a lesbian - so half a man in a way(ish).

Laugh tracks bother me too.
I like Fraiser, spin City and other sitcoms,
I catched alot of the reruns too.
The laugh tracks though. I know when to laugh, I don't need a laugh track to make the jokes obvious.
The sitcoms would have worked even better without the laugh track. All it does is make the series more staged instead of keeping it in the present.
Thanks for the info Dan. I may be able to grab a couple of episodes on youtube perhaps.

I watched the first couple episodes of the Kutcher era and that's all I could get through... this show sucks.

The first couple of Kutcher episodes weren't very good but it does get better. If you gave up on it then you have missed out on the following:
Alan trying it on with Linda Carter (as herself)
Charlie's daughter getting more tail than either of the two blokes (including Aly Michalka who spends a lot of time wandering around in her underwear)
Herb going off the rails and being found in a hotel room wearing a daiper - "It saves time" - and warpaint with the sound of a goat bleating in the background
Alan creating a new identity - Jeff Strongman
