Can you repaint a kit?

I've got a batman bust I'm thinking about painting up. I'm not that great at painting so I'm wondering if I do a CRAP job on it can it be redone by someone else?
I'm sure I know the answer already but I figured I'd ask just in case.

Yeah I know FU2 can. But I figured I've got a few of these kits and I want to give one a try, I'm bored tonight and I figure how hard can B&W for a starter.

Yes you can, if you screw it up a simple application of Easy Off Oven Cleaner will strip off the paint.

I know for a fact some people can do it, I wouldn't recommend just anyone trying it though without at least having some direction from a pro. I've had Saul Alvarez and Alex Castro paint things for me that have already been painted once (Saul repainted a statue that had actually been painted twice and it turned out good) and Rider you partially repainted a statue for me so why would you say it can't be done?

If I talked like I was REALLY messing with him then it would be no fun cuz he'd know I'm messing with him, so I had to be a little serious while leaving some space for suspicion...

Yeah I knew that you were. But I've gotta ask, I'm not a painter and I didn't know if there was something different with a kit then an official piece. Figure if you don't ask you don't know for sure. Also should I prime the piece first? Clean it? Gonna hang out at my mom's tomorrow and try it out, she's got a sweet paint brush setup.
