All,
Thanks for the kind words. Seriously, we are all as big of fans as you are and just want to make sure everything that we put out meets the standards we would want to have. We love what we do and just want to keep on doing it for as long as we can.
And, Mike will be here with us every step of the way!
To the questions...
In regards to the international folks, no sweat on making sure the value is kept low to prevent high customs fees. Just shoot Chris a reminder email as I mentioned so he makes sure to do it.
Yes, the light switch will still be on the bottom of the base, sorry. I know we had a bunch of people mention moving it to the back side of the base, but unfortunately that would mean quite a bit of re-engineering which would take a lot longer (and costs) to do. The factory graciously agreed to replace the faulty bases, but they will all be re-done just like they already were, only with better resin.
Also, no base re-designs or anything like that. The only difference will be that the new bases won't be faulty and will be able to hold Kiani up for however long you decide to display her. That's going to be the best difference of all!

Okay....one more question....the nameplate....is it riveted in or glued on? I ask, because when I get my new base I want to remove the nameplate from the old base and put it on my Regular Kiani
