Even watching it three times, I still dislike TFA. It’s now not even in my top 5.

This movie plays better a second time when you’re done geeking out, being angry, or whatever and can really think about the story and where we are headed.

I kind of agree. I wasn't going to see it again in the theater, but my brother wanted to go see it today, so I went with him. After a second viewing, I enjoyed it more. Still have my issues with it, but I'd bump it from the 5/10 score I initially gave to maybe a 6.5 or 7/10.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Brawl in Cell Block 99 (2017) 7/10 -
Kind of a cross between a killer, Garth Ennis' Punisher goes to prison story & an ultra-violent sequel to Fred Clause. Enjoyable & satisfying to finally see the 6'5 Vince Vaughn unleash.

Fanny and Alexander (1982) - Two young Swedish children experience the many comedies and tragedies of their family, the Ekdahls.
I really enjoy watching this movie between the holidays--always the five-hour version across multiple nights. I think it's Ingmar Bergman at his best. 10/10

Interesting, I’ll have to suggest that the next time “Obscure Movie Night” comes up with my buddies.
