Why they release two at one time I have no idea. Both statues appeal to the same type of buyer I would guess. So maybe a person who would want both is not forced to pick one or the other. Maybe they have to pay the person who does their website and sets up their product pics? And it's cheaper to pay them once rather than twice? I don't know, I'm just making guesses.

From a personal standpoint, I love when they release new stuff and check their website almost daily for updates. Id rather see a new release each month instead of two releases in one month, then nothing the next. It gives more time to release info and pics and such and focus on one statue at a time.
Even if both statues appeal to the same buyer, one statue or the other would still probably appeal to them a month later. I can't see that as the reason why they need to go up at the same time.

We can speculate why they do this, but the fact is customers only have so much disposable income for this hobby. Spacing out the pre-orders would help and might even turn into better sales over time for them.

Maybe. Maybe not.

That's just my view from a customer's standpoint.

Probably so they can put the order in to the factory at the same time ;p If one doesn't do well enough and you gotta cancel that means half your order is gone, even though it's a different statue it's still a smaller order ><

Not that I know of, but they have scaled back on ES (i.e. size of order for sure). Even the last Medusa didn't get the full ES iirc. And most companies aren't willing to put in an order before PO as if they're wrong it can literally cost them their company. They have also cancelled some of the additional parts due to lack of sales as well (least that's what Arahom said I believe).

Viking was going to be canceled, I think they actually pulled the plug and then Grog saved the day and bought them all and resold them to us for an amzing price.
