A couple of neat points of interest on this page... Jay used his finger prints to create the smoky effect above the ruins (an effect that is almost completely obscured on the printed comic page by the dark colors used). Also the plane used on this page didn't appear in the printed comic. Instead a patch was used (a stealth looking plane). Personally I like this OA page much better than the final printed page.

I bought this from inker Oliver Nome who said... "just an inked version I did over a copy of Jim's pencils. I work with Jim @ Wildstorm and saw the pencils of this piece which was published in the "Michael Turner" tribute book, and just had the urge to ink it. It was my first time inking something of Jim's, it was challenging and very rewarding. I think it came out great and Jim approved
