I think this would depend on who the penciler is. For instance, I would rather have Mark Farmer over anybody else if Alan Davis was the penciler. For the stuff I like, I would go with the old image-style inkers: Danny Miki, Scott Williams, Joe Weems, Al Vey, Alex Garner. (Alex didn't just do JSC, he did amazing inks over others, including Art Adams).

Other hot inkers: John Dell (best over Cheung) and Morales (see secret invasion and thor).

And there are the old-school guys who can turn any chicken scratch into a masterpiece: Rubenstein, McLeod, Reinhold, Austin

I'm a bit sided myself...but i gotta go with
Bill Meiggs. Great Guy...can do any range of ink weights and shadows...and works as fireman as his side job lol.
