SirConor
I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

As a Piston fan, Im disappointed to see Ben Wallace leave. He was a staple in the Detroit defense-minded championship team. but this team is no longer defensive minded and is seeking to score more often, which makes him a liability every time he is on the floor. Did you see how many free throws he missed during the eastern conference finals?

Had he stayed in Detroit, Ben Wallace could have:
-played for a contending team, retired a Piston, and eventually had his #3 retired to hang in the rafters.

Now he has just taken a step back into mediocrity. Do you remember what team he played for before he got to Detroit.

Exactly.

His rebounds and blocks are down every years for the past three years, and he is getting old. I doubt he will bring the Bulls any championships, but he will make every other team in the league think twice about coming to the paint.

If the Bulls are trying to become defense minded, then they have found their man. I think they will be a little better, but still will not get out of the second round of the playoffs.

Congratulations to Chicago. Big Ben will have an immediate impact. We'll miss him in Detroit.

This reminds me of when Dennis Rodman played for Detroit and then eventually ended up in Chicago (although Wallace is a much better player than Rodman). Detroit was on the decline and Chicago was on the rise. I'm a firm believer in the old saying "offense wins games but defense wins championships" and I don't like how the Pistons are emphasizing offense over defense.
