LAS VEGAS EXPO LOCATION MOVED....

The Las Vegas Comic Expo will be relocating to a new venue, the Riviera Casino & Hotel, directly located on the Las Vegas Strip.

Due to the flash floods from the recent rain storms, the original hotel and halls located at the Alexis Park Resort was damaged beyond repair, making it unsuitable to house the Las Vegas Comic Expo. Drywall, carpet and a lack of power proved too much to overcome in such a short window, thus making the shift to the Riviera necessary. All tickets issued will be honored and redirected to the Las Vegas Comic Expo at the Riviera.

Thanks for the heads up, didn't know they moved. I'm more excited about this location since it's on the strip and closer to the main hotels! Yay Glad I didn't book at the Alexis as originally planned. Sucks for those that did =-(.

After this and the whole sun-baked line wating at LA's Comikaze convention this year, I'm not planning on pre-purchasing tickets or anything in advance anymore. Don't mind paying the extra bucks for walk-up, at the door purchases anymore.

Hope they upload the room layout of the Riviera and the booths so I can start planning the walk-around route.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I can't believe there are two "comic-cons" scheduled at the same time. Hope the expo does well to where it makes a return?

Out of curiosity, Anybody check out Morrison yet?
