This won’t happen, but I would like to see them start over again with the Avengers, only this time they go full Marvel Ultimates. Ultimate Captain America is one of my all-time favorite characters, Thor is too when he came back from the underworld and Hela. Ultimate Spidey would be cool as well.
....they can keep Ultimate X-Men and that Ultimatum crap though.

A full on reboot of Marvel is likely twenty years off. I just don't see them stopping this money making train after the success of Black Panther and Captain Marvel.

My understanding is the additional material is in the form of an after credits scene and some bonus material. But, I would probably go out for one more viewing.
"Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend."
The re-release will reportedly debut June 28

I wonder if this move will piss off Sony. There's one thing to benefit from the popularity of Endgame and it's another to be competing against it.

seeing as how sony spoiled endgame for a few people that i know (and im sure many more i dont) with their unnecessarily spoilerific far from home trailer - im sure marvel dont give a f__k

After seeing this a 2nd time I was thinking, they could of easily brought back Black Widow like they did Gamora, just bring her back from a time before she was a sacrifice for the stone.
