I found away to Squeeze Ms. Marvel next to Captain Marvel, taking the upper shelf count to 12 pieces.

This is where I am a little jealous. Awesome pieces.

Thanks. XM Studio's Ms Marvel shows up on ebay for good prices (less than what i paid) sometimes. I didn't pay a crazy high price either

I liked the live action movie. Story-wise it offered nothing new, although it made the story simpler to understand, compared to the animated Manga. GITS was never going to appeal to the masses.

I'm a big Masamune Shirow fan, and his works are quite hard to understand sometimes, has a lot of complex stories, deep meanders of politics, not for everyone indeed.

Sideshow - Psylocke: X-Force Variant PF

Sideshow - Psylocke: X-Force Variant PF today, and wow! what a piece.

First things first, the eye's look good. The portrait looks best viewed from the side rather than head on. Head on the eye's can look iffy, but only very slightly.

The body sculpt looks amazing. The only reason i never pulled the trigger sooner was because of the last minute portrait switch which pleased some collectors, and left some collectors (my self included) feeling somewhat bewildered at the decision.

Paint looks goof. Neat lines etc. There is scuff mark/paint-lines on Psylocke's chin, but i can live with that.

The base. It looks ok. I was never sold on the base from the beginning, as it reminds of me wax, a scented wax candle for example. It holds Psylocke steady, so it's doing it's job.

Issues: The pegged foot fails to insert fully into the base. Under each foot is a 4mm gap. No amount of pressure/force will fix the issue. For the moment, i cannot separate the piece from the base. I might have to plug the gap with rubber?

I'm super happy to finally have a Psylocke in my collection

Agreed. Who'd have thought, Sideshow releasing the portrait so many wanted from the moment they showed it at a Con, only to pull the rug and replace it with an alternative?

Not me, that's for sure.
I went on wait list minutes after it sold out, but zero expectation anyone is going to cancel.
