if anyone wants to check out kabuki get the new series out on ICON - marvel imprint. or get the trade paperpack of kabuki metamorphosis (image comics). its great story telling and great art. you dont have to read the series in order to understand it. metamorphosis is my favorite of the series. definitely check it out if you like the statue. it'll be much cooler understanding the character and what she represents.

Whoa, I missed this review - looks like B_C's in love. Great review as ever - 5 stars, wow. Looks like a strong sculpt though. I'm tempted to agree with Bullseye that it should lose a touch for the base - I'm all for simple bases, believe me, but that one looks a bit poorly rendered. Kudos go to the sculptor for the less exaggerated depiction of the female figure - I hope we see more of that in the statue and comics field.
