Really? Night vs day?

In all honesty this piece looks pretty close to the proto. The proto was never even close to 100% on the likeness and that's what they delivered here as well. The paint looks well done too (costume looks great).

In all honesty, this piece was very poorly received in the first place. Anyone acting like its an abomination when they see the production piece are just fooling themselves. If I ordered this and it turned out as it has, I'd be perfectly content as for once, it looks nearly the same as originally solicited.

I have to admit, this is my first experience with what people "expect" on a statue forum.... I'm used to coral reef forums where people want detail, with normal lighting. Apparently I need glamour shots with appropriate, studio lighting here

He doesn't look cartoonish, or anything else bad.... the only thing I'm trying to figure out is if his head is actually physically more narrow than the prototype, or it's an optical illusion due to certain paint issues.

Take a pic of it without the flash, dude. It'll fair better for sure. Don't stand so close to the statue to take a close-up shot. Instead, stand a little farther back and zoom in with your camera phone.

Oh, yeah, sure... of course.... but I just wanted to let people know what it looks like, in the cold light of day In hand, it's nice... the costume is amazing. Matching a celebrity's face is ... well, I'd say tough. I walked around SDCC this year and saw so many Walking Dead characters, for example, as small statues. While I see who they are... well, they still look like "cartoon characters" of the real people. It's inevitable with a non comic/monster character, IMO.
