Athlete statues?
I may have missed it, but have their ever been 1:4 Premium Format style sculpts of professional athletes? If so, who? If not, who do you think would sell well or who would you want?

WWE, if you consider them athletes. I have no desire for real people in statue form. Well, I would love a George Washington or Erik the Red.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Joe Montana, or Derek Jeter would be tempting.

This would be a hit (especially among some of our fellow members) and would be right up Sideshow's alley :
Me, I'm not really interested in statues of real athletes.

Surprised you didn't say Messi, he is arguably the most famous and popular athlete in the world.

Lol. Yeah, I admit the thought crossed my mind, but even though I'm a Barça supporter and we do worship the li'l guy around here, I wouldn't go as far as to have a statue of him at my place.
... Well, OK, between you and me, a K. A. Kim sculpt of him might very well change my mind. :P

There's always this one. Not 1:4 scale of course.

Mark Newman also showed some larger athlete sculptures he did as commissions. [from DeviantArt]
