My guess would be because SS have the lowest NDR for Mera. Spec Fiction is asking for $1k NDR and BBTS is asking $600. SS also will give lucky buyers about $200 worth in reward points.

Nah, I think they're just taking advantage of the fact it's an attractive female. Aquaman has way more hair and is still a bit cheaper.

To be blunt, if I put up a $3300 Wonder Woman and sold out instantly and then a $3900 Mera and it sold out in days I'd be probably be thinking "all right who can we do and charge $4200 for?"
