I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Did you guys name the pets or was it children? My son has named his pets ( he's now five) and I love the names he came up with for them.
Orangecrush, that cat is adorable.

And he loves doing this at like 4:30 in the morning. So I am basically forced to use shelving units that have glass doors with anthing valuable like my statues and my more valuable antique camera's and lenses.
Here is a picture of the little culprit!
He a sweet adorable kitty in the day and a complete terror by night.

As your cat's attorney, I must say pictures or these crimes didn't happen.

Nope, we named 'em: Bobtail, Mischief, Tiptoes and Rocket. I think Rocket is the only comic-related name though.

Thank you so much!!
The area is very isolated, and even the window that has the curtain is pixilated. I keep checking for dust, and I haven't seen any yet

Mine are out in the open, as well, on top of 42" Billy bookcases (just on top, there are books on the shelves). The surface top of the bookcases gets dusty, but like you, I'm not noticing much dust on the statues. I have microfiber towels and canned air at the ready, but I'm not using them much.
I don't like separating my statues on shelves. I think it's cool when they appear to be interacting, rather than celled off from one another.

Right on , tiptoes was the one that stood out to me out of those.
This display looks great, gives me some ideas for display options. I like seeing what creative things collectors come up with.

I'm now getting to the final stages of the lighting for mine. I went for a combination of downlighting and sidelighting using discs and bars. A bit of a pain in the a$$ to get exactly what I wanted as there was some splicing required to get the lengths I required. I'll put up some pics at the weekend when it's all together (these things take waaaay longer than you think).
