I'm not sure about this one. It doesn't seem to even resemble her, unless its the angle?
Isn't she suppose to be of green color or something close to it.
I'm not to familiar with this character so I could be wrong

I doubt they'd do that, since it'd take more effort than just a simple repaint in this case (I'm honestly shocked SS didn't choose the Annihilation costume, it being more revealing.) I was just making fun of the comic art I posted, as it was an embarrassingly obvious swipe from that Conan statue.

I like it!
I like the the costume, the pose, you name it, but still it's not working for me. I'm just not feeling it.

I would have been all over this version...
I understand why they went with the current one though.
I like the statue so far. 2016 will be tough.
If they do Angela, then I will get Gamora.
It might have to be a future custom.

They are really bringing it with the Marvel women!
Glad to see this. Probably a pass, it's not even the statue which looks great so far, I was just never a fan of this look for her but it's still nice that people who want Gamora will get a chance to own her. Maybe they can pull a Catwoman with this one and do a mirror image classic version?
This gives me hope for other characters. Gamora's profile was raised by being in a very popular Marvel movie but even still it's not like her comic counterpart is all that well known. Same with Captain Marvel, really, outside of geek culture the rest of the world isn't familiar with her. It's just nice to see characters who aren't among the most recognized (Cap, Hulk, Spidey, Wolverine) get a shot. Gives me hope for Jubilee, Hercules, Blade, Nightcrawler, etc.
And...if ss is wiling to do Gamora, who knows when it could be, but a comic version Rocket is probably not inconceivable. Sign me up for that.

While that version is nice, it's a bit too R-rated for me. Honestly, I've owned scantily clad statues in the past and they've generally been the subject of, well, let's say, unwelcome debate and discussion. I don't live alone, and we frequent guests and visitors. I'd pass, and opt to simply appreciate the lesser dressed versions from afar. I do like the new costume version though.

I think my family has finally become used to me liking comic female characters with their insanely unrealistic body types. They seem fine with my QOTD Siren piece. I still like the older costumes. It is what I grew up with.
