A dark scratch is hard to overlook on Taarna‘s white skin. I would have asked for a replacement, too.

First problem with quality I've had and it got resolved fairly quickly so I can't complain

Has anyone tried silver sharpie pens in lieu of silver paint?

I'm in the process of repairing my Thor Breaker of Brimstone because I don't feel like waiting two months for Sideshow's utter BS. So far it looks much more blended than the mess the factory created.

I've used my air brush paints to do ultra thin, watered down layers until the blending is just right. So far I've fixed his black eye (cheek area), and his patchy eyebrows. I need to add a gloss coat over the eye they forgot (waiting for my morning coffee's effects to subside). Then all that'll be left is fixing a black line on his helmet and lightening his teeth. The black line is actually a void of paint entirely. What's showing through is the black primer underneath.

The spot on his helmet that's black should be silver. Will a silver sharpie provide unnoticeable results? The issue with paint is that doing just that area will stand out. I'd have to repaint the entire rim, and that can go wrong fast. I'd rather avoid an entire helmet repaint, if at all possible.

Plenty of collectors out there use sharpies with good results - you can always wipe it off if it doesn't look right. You MAY have to seal it afterwards (your call).

Alternatively - just look at it as battle damage.

Hey. Thanks for the reassurance. I'll try out the sharpie for sure. The gloss is actually pealing up a bit as well, so I'll have to seal it anyhow. I'm thinking they used satin... I'm hoping they used satin anyway. Thanks again.

Thumbs down Response Times Sideshow Support

How long does the Sideshow Returns Team usually take to confirm the images of a destroyed statue for their RMA process? I have been waiting for some reaction for over 10 days now. After spending over 1200 euros (about 1360 $) on a statue that I should destroy afterwards, this long silence makes me extremely nervous.

Is the Sideshow support now as bad as their quality control?

Sideshow support has always been a bit hit-and-miss - but never quite as bad as their QC

You'll hear back from them - they are likely bit backlogged.

Yes, sideshow's email support is a big nuisance at the moment. Even if I reply directly to an email I get from them, it takes more than a week to receive an answer.

Thumbs down

Until something is finally solved, it takes months with these ridiculous response times.

It's just a shame how this company treats its customers!

Noticed the decorations at the top of one of death's boots were missing when I was repositioning him to see about adding another PF to my CoTD collection. Reached out to see if there was anything that could be done and got the canned response that it was too late. Sadness. Anyone have any ideas for a potential fix? Only thing I can think is to turn him back how I had him before I noticed.
