Gentle Giant Rey Mini-Bust
Rey is coming. Gonna have to get this one to go alongside Kylo and the Troopers. This looks really well done. Their female portraits are almost always very good, and this one is no exception. For some reason, I'm really getting into mini-busts.

Man I love Rey. This will look great with the eventual 1/4 PF.

this piece is laughable compared to Trevor Grove's recent piece that he did for himself! Hard to even recognize Daisy Ridley

While I respect Trevor's skills as master portrait sculptor, but his Rey just looks off.
Daisy Ridley is going to be hard to replicate. She doesn't have any prominent features on her face. So it's hard to tie similarities to her face.

This MB looks pretty sweet if you ask me. Likeness is certainly there.
GG continues to produce a line of products with these SW MB's that I can get behind. Great character variety, reasonable pricing and quality sculpts & paints. Outside of this line I'm pretty much done with collecting as prices from other companies are completely out of control and quality is hit & miss at best. It's nice to see this line flourishing.

People always look down on GG for whatever reason but I have had TONS of their statues and mini busts and always liked them. Some likeness is hit or miss but for the most part they make really nice pieces.

The Grove sculpt is pretty good, but it should've been a closed-mouth sculpt. The teeth make it look weird in the second picture. I prefer the more subtle face of the mini-bust anyway. I also like the detailed and textured outfit of the mini-bust over the detail and texture of Grove's sculpt. The freckles do look good though.
