Really? Was thinking of picking up the MR. Miracle. Oh well.
MM would make a great statue though.

It is divisive. I think it had some really strong moments and a few head scratchers. It is also difficult to contextualize reality within the story so not sure what the fall out is.

Yeah its bad. King had so much hype behind his name that i picked up a few of his batman titles that people were saying were so good but were terrible, characters not acting like themselves, story all over the place, and also king has a knack for repeating himself which comes off as pretentious and annoying.
So i stopped reading batman altogether to check out his acclaimed mister miracle, i read a couple issues and dropped it, king is trash and a master at leading the reader on, save yourself time, money, and disappointment by not reading his work. Funny enough a year later after so many people were praising King now theyre pissed and disappointed at how mister miracle turned out.
How he acquired a job at DC is beyond me. Always best to judge for your self though, but if you ask me he’s garbage, granted he’ll have a good issue here and there but they are few and far between.

I think it did set up a lot of interesting aspects, but the pay off was lacking for many. The tonal shifts from brutal graphic violence to sarcastic detached humor left many not getting what they wanted.
I thought there were some great character moments and good use of subtle shifts in art to convey atmosphere, but I get feeling bit underwhelmed by the end.

As a big Juggernaut fan I would love to see statues or busts of:
Cyttorak:
Black Tom Cassidy:
J2 - The son of Juggernaut:
Gomurr the Ancient:
Besides I think a statue of the Silver Samurai and Maggott would be pretty awesome as well!
Silver Samurai:
Maggott:

LOL!
This one's especially for you Demona!
I have always liked the way Joe Madureira drew Maggott and think he is one heck of a cool mutant.
