Just got the email requesting final payment on this piece. I live one state away from Sideshow - shipping comes to $320? That seems a bit........insane. I ship massive over-sized heavy packages all the time to Cali for a fraction of that price. Calling them tomorrow...

That's the kind of shipping prices you get from XM when they ship big statues from Singapore directly to you via air.

That seems a bit excessive from SS...

Is it possible it comes in two boxes? (even though, that shipping seems high) looking forward to seeing some in hand pics

Yes, that's exactly what is happening. I called them and they mentioned it coming in two boxes and the $320 was a discounted rate off of what the carrier was charging them.

2 Boxes, not to mention the size and weight involved. I think some collectors will be in for a shock at the size of the piece.
I really wanted to pre_order this. The size and the fact a custom dust cover is a must, put me off pulling the trigger.

I doubt SS would discount shipping charges to their customers. Just so you know SS has a business shipping account with UPS which gives them a discount on shipping charges for using UPS to ship their inventory. SS is charging you for the exact shipping cost they are incurring, not the other way around.

Shipping to Canada for me $410. It's on the way now. We'll see how mind blowing this will be in the flesh very soon.
