King of Fighters XIV

I don't see many SNK fans around here, but KOF XIV is just around the corner. With smooth as silk controls, a launching roster of 48 characters, (with some possible hidden ones) and returning favorites along with 14 brand new ones this game is a steal for any fighting game fan.

I suspect it will get lost in the shuffle, but if you felt burned like many others over the SF5 debacle, at least give the demo a try. I've been playing this demo more than some of my purchased games. Anyway here are some of my week 1 combos, never monetized of course, maybe you'll see something you like.

Good Smile Company are making some Nendoroids from this game. Hopefully some Figmas follow. I have the D arts Terry Bogard.

Im so excited for this game, sucks tho i don't own a PS4, but I'm waiting for a slim one to come out and then ill prob bite the bullet and get this.

Game looks so smooth, has that Alpha old school feel to it. Its on GGPO network which is the best for online fighting games.

Few friends of mine played the demo and said its so responsive they are going to it over SF5 now and plus you get everything day one of buying the disc which is how it should be.

Edit: i have a feeling this will become the main game of EVO and other tornies now, so many pros are excited for it as well, its got what SF5 is lacking. I even watched the demos and matches at EVO stream this year, so much come backs and combos. Will be fun to see high level play in it down the line.

The game has leaked early already, the tournament boss Antonov has been confirmed playable although the video has been taken down already. There is also another silhouette on the select screen that they are trying to unlock. This brings the roster up to at least 50 now. Would be super cool if they somehow bring back Rugal or Orochi as the final boss.

Got to admit; when I played the demo last night, my first choice of character was Mai, just to see them bounce

they got early street copies of the game already and so far they said online was amazing.

Going to be interesting once its in everyones hands.
