The ground pound is iconic IM but as a statue it's a little boring and awkward. I also don't think it looks impressive at all, the paint and base look uninspired

What on earth are they thinking? This is the exact same statue and in a worse pose. Come on SS, you can do better.

This is how it should have looked!
The stance is wider and his right knee is nearly touching the ground (I believe the above image has been flipped, as it's different from the one I see on the MCU Artbooks that I have). As it is, Sideshow's just looks awkward.
I loved their original Mark 3 Maquette as its near identical to the Hero shot (with stunt man) production photo that's it's based from.... Other than the base and all the battle damage, as the shot was perfectly clean.

And I kinda feel bad for the comic collectors as we can just cut and paste comments from the past many years in these Sideshow Iron Man threads, and most would relatively be the same.

Lackluster. Sideshow can't compete with the likes of Queen Studios. They're just a step above Sideshow for busts, life size, half scale and quarter scale.
At this point, they're better off becoming a full on distributor and give up the Star Wars and Marvel licenses.
I'd love for them to carry XM and Queen Studios etc.

Usually those that have made it big have some type of shady background. I always wonder how that company came to be. I was out of the hobby during their rise to prominence.

I don't like this pose generally (thanks for ruining it, Deadpool movie), but I do like the effect on the base here.

The simple yet well done base might be the part of this statue
