Sideshow Bringing Back Thursday Pre-Orders with Set Edition Sizes

I noticed that Thanos Exclusive Edition Size was already set for Thursday. I remember Sideshow doing that with one other statue recently. Maybe Leatherface? But this might be a good thing. At least for the Exclusives.

They probably learn from the x-men masked man that the prices do slow sales and then decided 750 ex is the sweet spot for these even top characters with double the priced. Dead guy was the first real test on pushing prices to see what people will pay and how long it takes to sell the amount they wanted. They figure the tbd would be approximately going to come to the similar sales as the dead guy. So might as well put a ES on it early with the big price tag. I must say I'm glad they did so the ES and if the ex is good, that would be a good combo again that we had not have for a long time. Or at least not after the turtles, gator guy and the beautiful leopard girl which still has not sold out on the ex with only 500. Shame collectors are ignoring that beauty

I'm guessing people were not pre-ordering until after they saw the ES which was usually 3-4 months later... I'm guessing they're doing this to see if they can increase their pre-orders...

Yes with the exception of the rich on here. I don't blame people for waiting with no Es, and the first po collectors gets punished with no coupon offers or discounts. People were catching on and seeing this happening.

I'm guessing only because they knew she would not be popular so they announced a low ES up front.

With Thanos, I guarantee his enormous price tag had everything to do with it. People aren't going to PO at $1,200 with a TBD ES that stays open for months and months.

Tmnt had it too. Personally, I hate TBD. Thanos is ridiculous over priced. You can get 1/3 scale Prime 1 for $900-$950. Makes Prime1 Deathstroke look like a bargain.
