From the marketing perspective this list might not be the best.
I think Eric and his crew have started properly with "safer " characters, but know they should go for players that have not been or have been just a little represented. Thus, I think alternate one year 2 and one year 3 or 4 might be the way.

i dont think we will see ken and honda preorder this year. akuma is in october. highly doubt proto will do another so close to the end of the year.
