If its Region Free I'll be picking up that Steelbook to go with my others. I see no reason to repurchase a box set when I already own 2 of the 3 films.

Is everyone here buying Avengers? I thought that Amazon was giving away free copies of the 3D version to people who pre-ordered the briefcase. I was waiting to see actual pics, now I missed out on a free copy.
Night of the Living Dead 1990 is shipping early. Should have it soon.

Future Shop here always does Steelbook releases that are either the same or superior to the ones at HMV (and region 1 to boot). Happy to grab you one and toss it in the mail for you if need be Scott.
The Avengers steel book they put out is INCREDIBLE! Sleek black box (without the cheesy blu ray banner) with an oversized the Avengers logo embossed on the front and S.H.I.E.L.D logo painted on the back. The interior has that the panoramic shot of the team inside.

Not really too impressed with the Dark Knight Rises releases
Was hoping for a super dooper Trilogy Box set might just stick with the dvd as i have the first two

Spideristic posted a link in this or the TDKR thread that contained WB's official release info and it stated that there is an "Ultimate" trilogy boxed set slated for release next year.

Just an FYI to anyone who ordered NOTLD from Twilight Time.
Apparently there is a big brouhaha over at Bluray.com Forums about the transfer on this, it seems to be very dark compared to what's come before on home video. Twilight Time is checking with Sony to see if this is what was signed off, and if so then that's that. You can send your copy back for a full refund if you're not happy, but everyone is assuming a recall won't happen due to the fact that TT is a very small operation. Guess we'll have to wait and see what happens, I received my copy yesterday but haven't checked it out yet.
