Definitely can see this working with various better character arcs.
I thought Fox only had the movie rights for X-Men and didn't have the rights to do the X-Men on TV. That's been discussed on here many times. If that's changed, do you have any idea of when and how?

I don't have a link to a source, but I recall that Disney/Marvel made a deal with Fox that allowed Fox to produce two X-Men related shows. I believe the details of the deal have not been made public yet.

Okay...thanks for the info. Did Marvel get anything out of the deal, like the ability to use any of the X related characters in the MCU?

I think it's speculation at this point, but some have mentioned the possibility of the Fantastic Four or related cosmic character films right reverting back to Marvel. Again, pure speculation.

They could do something similar to the Generation X film.

I just watched the premiere and already like it more than any other X-Men project from FOX.

I thought I remembered there being an existing discussion about this show. Anyway, the pilot was very promising. However, I do hope it's a little less jarring going forward. I imagine the mix of flashbacks, reality questioning and personality jumping becoming a chore to keep up with if they do it every week.
