Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Newsletter 9.0 - Where's My Maquette Part 2?
3rd Sept 2021
Hi There,
We wanted to continue to keep you all up to date with the shipping crisis and what it looks like for your Tweeterhead orders.
We are working to secure a container, at a higher cost to get your Poison Ivy, Minion and Catwoman to the U.S. As we’ve mentioned before these pieces have been done and waiting pick up for a while now. They are safe and in storage at the factory, and we are anxious to get them to you. We’re working on having the international orders shipped directly to you international customers.
As always, we’ll keep you updated, but please do not worry if you see some customers receiving their products in the next month as you might continue to wait. We simply can't secure a container big enough to bring everything over, so we have to do it in multiple stages of shipping. Also, we have to be able to get a container an affordable price. A 40’ container used to cost us around $9K, and the latest we’re hearing is the minimum starts at $15K up to $25K. As you can imagine this is a major hit to both us financially and to you time-wise.
We will all get through this unprecedented circumstance together.
I have not posted the whole email, just part of it, the interesting part.
The part i liked was:
We’re working on having the international orders shipped directly to you international customers.
Being located in the UK, i figured the piece would be sent from Tweeterhead in the US, as i order direct from Tweeterhead, to receive the piece faster than if i pre_ordered from Sideshow. Later Tweeterhead dropped some news that stated non US customers would receive their Catwoman from Sideshow, even if they placed their order with Tweeterhead, as Sideshow offer better shipping rates. The question is, if my Catwoman ships direct from China to the UK, what will the shipping costs look like? and will the parcel ship via sea or air?

News Letter 23rd Sept 2021
Hey everyone,
Thank you so much for your ongoing support of Spec Fiction. As you may
know, this year has proven quite difficult in regards to shipping and I just
wanted to thank you for your patience and understanding.
Blah, blah, blah.. (cut's to the chase)
LONG STORY SHORT. We got 6 containers in a 2 week time period.
Around 1800 Boxes. The warehouse is unloading and putting your statues
away as fast as they can but needless to say they are SWAMPED. The
good news is, your statues will be shipping soon! The bad news is that it's
gonna require a bit more patience and waiting. We are almost there
though, and again, I really do appreciate your understanding in regards to
this crazy matter. Many of you have reached out and offered some very
nice words, so thanks very much for that. As always, if you have any more
questions, please feel free to reply directly to this email. Thanks!
-Todd
Looks like Catwoman will ship soon'ish
I hope they release some production piece images.

Not to poo-poo you, but Spec and Tweeterhead are two different companies and when their shipments are finally received could be very different. Not to mention, I don't think Spec even sold this piece at all.

1800 boxes of varying sizes is a hell of load to take all at once.
I don't think my Queen bust is going to be in that lot, but I hope people's XM/LBS Thor's are. I'm eager to see other people's thoughts about it.
