"Daredevil: Father" Spoilerific Thread!!

Ok, so I just finished the last issue and you know what? I liked it. It introduced new characters (ok, they weren't that great) and it gave you some back story into what happened to the man that Daredevil saved. And that last page was very touching, especially knowing that Joe's dad died recently. So, what did you guys think? BTW YES I know it was delayed, blah blah Joe is Lazy Blah blah House of M sucked, Ok, I want a discussion of the actual STORY please.

I liked it and liked the background story of the guy that Matt saved. It was a clever whodunnit, but it wasn't the "origin shattering" story promised IMO.

I also don't get how the new supergroup fitted in the the main plot. It just seemed like a diversion that went to where. Was I missing something?

What I always liked about Daredevil was how in the right hands, you could really tell a great human story without it being distracted by the alien lazers, talking zebras, and toasters hell bent or global domination. ...Not that there's anything wrong with those things.
