Sorry, this print is not cool enough to warrant spending $150. Pass.

True, its not worth 150, thats getting crazy.
Interestingly enough, checking the completed listings on ebay showed all 4 sold so far and the current 2 are from the same retailer, sunnyscomics.. How did one retailer get 6 (maybe even more) out of 30 limited prints?

Yeah, that does seem like a large number for such a limited print that's supposed to be a con exclusive.

I agree with you, but at only 30 issued, I wouldn't be surprised if it went for higher later on...especially if they do not come out with 'alternate' colored versions that they usually come out with with a lot of aspen prints...like the "Shake Your Aspen' piece for example. I for one hate it when they do that.
While I hate to admit it, I purchased the last piece that was selling for $99. I love Grace's character. I would have rather paid $40 for it and it being relased at aspenstore.
...as for the coolness factor, aspen has a habit of surprising me once I have the print on hand. . It just looks so much more sharp and vibrant on hand.
...picture composition is different though...but hey, it's still MIke's Art.

I don't expect this to come out re-coloured, but an OP wouldn't surprise me in a few months. They did that with the Soulfire 7c ultra-limited print from SDCC last year - it came out as an OP quite soon afterwards.
Am surprised like you guys that SunnysComics have 6+ of that print though.
I don't reckon many more than 20 of that 30 would have been released at the convention - they will save some for ebay and people like Peter and Frank will get copies I guess.

This has become one of my favorite threads on this forum, and the only piece of Fathom art I own is the Mike Turner's Tribute book.
You guys all own some fantastic prints.

None of them are "worth" $150
I get that these are limited and all but they are just copies. I have a hard time justifying the price these things go for.
Same goes for Mondo posters. I guess I just don't get it.
...I'm just bitter cause I can't find one I like that I can afford.

They have the new Big WOW print up at AspenStore too for only $39.99. I highly recommend this print, it is just gorgeous. I have the original OP version, so I don't need this one too, but it's a personal fav.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
