"Batman: The Black Mirror" Pick this up!
Scott Snyder (Author)
Jock (Illustrator)
Francesco Francavilla (Illustrator)
I just read the hardcover of this story and it was great! The story and the art were fantastic.
Dick Grayson is Batman, and we have almost the entire Gordon family in this one.
I am not great with words like our past reviewers, but I just felt the need to to let you all know it a great read, definitly worth checking out

So, this is a mini-series collected? Not a one-shot? Also, w/ Dick as Batman, does this take place in the future?

This is 12 issues ( i think ) of Scott Snyder's Run with ( yes ) Dick as Batman.
It's before the New 52, and Flashpoint, so i don't know if it is part of teh cannon.. but it builds some stuff up from Year one.. and a lot of stuff about gordon and Gotham.. Snyder's got Grayson Batman , Gordon , Barbara and Gotham perfect ! ..
N no Pesky ( though now i like um Damian )
I'd highly recommend it. wont'say more for fear of Spoilers.. but yeah.. it's a whammy !

It collects Detective Comics #871-881
I really enjoyed reading this. One of those where you hate to put it down, but you don't want it to be over.
What I really like is how the art plays so much into the story telling as well.

Agree that it's outstanding. It's right up there with Batman: Year One and Batman: The Long Halloween.
This takes place when Bruce Wayne comes back from being seemingly dead after Final Crisis. Bruce decides to begin Batman incorporated and is traveling the world. Meanwhile Dick is Batman for Gotham City and he does a hell of a good job at it too.

I picked this up and read it last week. I agree, it's excellent. And I'm no fan of Dick as Batman
