"Ain't nothin' gonna break-a my stride..."
I was singing this stupid top forty pop song on Sunday and my wife asked me why the hell I was singing it. Frankly, I just stopped and stood there for a few seconds 'cause I couldn't for the life of me figure out why this imbecilic song I never liked came into my head. And....then I remembered!
It was the elevator music in Tony Stark's Tower that was playing as Cage was riding up in it, after falling off the terrace, to jump back into the fight with all those ninjas in the latest issue of New Avengers!
Then I just started laughing. My wife thought that was pretty humorous, too. Oh, how comics can influence your life!

Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn!
I guess turn about is fair play!

Believe it or not I'm walking on air. I never thought I could feel so free-e-e! Flying away on a wing and a prayer...who could it be? Believe it or not its just me!

The whole page was the funniest thing I have read in a comic book in a long time! True realism there! I was dreading the scene of him climbing up the side of the building sy punching and kicking his way into the side of the builing for hand and foot holds!
That alone gets an A+ from me for New Avengers! ( Until the Ronin thing turns out to be Elektra..the I am done!) = )

When I was a kid I used to think one verse said...
Ain't nothing gonna break my stride
Ain't nothing gonna hold me down
Oh no, I've got to keep "my boobies"
If you have a chance to listen to it, listen and see if it doesn't sound like what I was hearing as a kid.
