$3.99 for a regular comic?
What does everyone think of both Marvel and DC slowly taking their comics to $3.99 a comic. A jump of $1 per book?

One of the bigger reasons why i stopped buying comics. $4 for something i can read in 2 minutes and have to buy 3-5 more issues to finish the story is a waste.

2009 marks the year I have STOPPED buying comics. the prices are out of hand.
I keep current with Thor...and so far have picked up Agents of Atlas.
My plan is to take a year off and then buy HC TPB's at discount proces from Tales of Wonder.
It's a damn shame that kids cannot afford to buy comics with their allowance anymore!

I'm down from $200.00 a month to $60.00 a month on books. This month I'll be down to $50.00. My goal is to be down to less then 10 titles a month.

I am EXTREMELY choosy in what I pick up these days. It's sad that when I started buying comics they were 15 cents!

This is why I've been dropping books like crazy.
The real shame is that this is going to put a lot of LCS out of business.
