Iron Studios: Jurassic Park Nedry, Dilophosaurus and Jeep

Finally canceled it. Too many nicer pieces coming out.

Has there been any pics of the Blue and Beta piece? It looks good from some angles but not from others?

I've just about lost faith that IS can make anything JP accurate anymore.

Only pics I have of it at the moment since I was locked out of my office but I think it's great , the mouth seems a bit on the bright side but it turned out nice

Thank you, much appreciated. Looks a lot like the individual / Explorer Blue. She has a mouth that's a bit too bright as well. It's odd as they did fine on the early raptors and even the LW Male has a darker mouth paint. If you have time I would love to see more angles.

As shown above you can find them, I have a Amber Collection Dilo and Nedry that work well enough for me, I could sculpt a base easy enough I think, though I'm sure someone will attempt it again. I'm just not loving the dilo sculpt and paint and Nedry is a bit too clean for this scene. Admittedly it does tick off a lot of boxes, it's just the execution.

If their last JP Tyrannosaurs are anything to go by I'm not holding my breath on it.

Oh that's not any amber collection stuff that's my personal work that I've made to fit in that I'd hope to make copies of .

I was able to pic the nedry and dilo statue I plan on making a new dilo and hopefully offer it up as a replacement for the statue .

Oh I know , sorry I didn't make that clear. He was asking where else you can get a Nedry/Dilo statue and I pointed out you had a nice one there already.

I have an Amber Collection Nedry and Dilo that I can place in pretty much the exact same pose. I would scratch build a base for them myself. Of course by the time I do it's possible another company might make a diorama of the same thing. We already have at least two better Dilophosaurus coming.

I saw this piece in person at Universal Studios and I was quite impressed with it. They obviously wanted stupid money for it but if it goes on sale on IS own site I’ll probably pick it up. Nerdy looked good.

I unboxed this yesterday and was super impressed by the piece in person.

Nowadays it's not really all that common to unbox an expensive, and 99.9% of the time overpriced, item while feeling thrilled and positive during and after the process without the slightest hint of remorse. This piece did it entirely.




Just wish the base was more consistent in style with the previous releases, as they all look better in this regard in my opinion, but that ship has long sailed at this point. Easily Top 3 Iron Studios JP statue to me, super happy with it.

And to answer some questions in the previous page, eventual Dilo proportion issues were due to lens distortions/focal lenght as there's actually nothing wrong with it.
