Marv Wolfman really knew how to write Deathstroke right. Of course, he and Perez created him in The New Teen Titans, so he should know the character best.

I usually avoid old DC stuff, but i am in a Deathstroke hype and you never know. I really enjoyed Superboy and the Legion of Super Heroes as an old DC run. (Morduru was so lame though... lol)

You never enjoyed the Neal Adams runs on Batman. Brave & The Bold, Green Lantern/Green Arrow or Deadman? If you haven?t read these, you definitely should. Also, Levitz and Giffen had a tremendous run on Legion of Superheroes. Their ?Great Darkness Saga? is legendary and in Deluxe HC format and their subsequent arc will be released soon.

I tried the Great Darkness Saga, but i didn't like it. I will give it an another chance though, if i can find where i put it. Neal Adams, Batman, well, i have the Hard Cover Editions and i couldn't get to the Parts that was written by Denis O'Neil because it wasn't a very good read. It was weird and creepy... Like Jimmy Olsen and Robin secretly watching Batman and Superman play wheel of fortune from a monitor with a hidden camera or something... lol Now, i laugh, but when i read that stuff, i was young and when i was young, i was the King of the Edge Lords. That stuff was a disgrace to Batman for me and must be destroyed. lol

I hope you do give the Great Darkness Saga another try.
To me, the absolute genius of that Paul Levitz/Kieth Giffen run was that they were dealing with 25 characters and none were ignored and all were given distinct personalities. Some group books with 7 to 9 characters have a hard time doing that.

To each his own. To me, the Levitz/Giffen Legion run and Adams’ work with Denny O’Neil and others at DC were genius.
