It?s a rehash that comes with less than the original did, which we all know.
Tell me though how is this only $10 less than the new Batgirl which comes with a giant base that lights up and she has much more detail.
Sorry easy pass.

Concur. Too high a price for too little to offer.
Even the 2 (4, if you count the variants) Poison Ivy PFs offered more than this. Their bases were more than what this Harley is standing on.
For that price, we need more ...c'mon Sideshow!

Did you mean "WAY more"? Both statues have a very complex base, so I agree SS is charging way too much on this Harley.

That and Lucille Ball immediately came to mind. Nice body sculpt though.

This is kind of why I really like this one. It captures my favorite version of Harley Quinn.
I prefer the classic jester Harley the most. Whenever I think of Harley, the version from Batman the Animated Series always comes to mind. I get the reasons for adding modern elements to her, but they don't have the same charm and magic.
Looking at this statue, I can hear Arleen Sorkin's Voice.
But I have to echo the others here about that price. Its totally not fair nor is there a reason for it. Especially when the recent Hell On Wheels had far more to offer and a cheaper price tag. If this was priced fairly, I'd pull the trigger in a heartbeat.

Komodo - all of those feeling I have too. And that is the very reason I love the Tweeterhead version on the box soooo much. The popgun with the pigtails is my preferred display.

I thought $700 was regular price for a PF now in this New Year?

It really is. The complaints dosen't make a lot iof sense considering people dealt with the price hikes for everything else and set that price as normal. Can't keep throwing huge wads of money at things and expect for the price to go down...even on variant pieces.

You're not wrong, $700 for a PF is a competitive price in the 1/4 statue market. For those comparing this to the old Hell On Wheels version ($590), bear in mind that was revealed during the 12 Days event in 2019...and a lot of inflation has happened since then. So given that, I think this is a fair price.

Ja, but if everything is getting more expensive due to inflation, but nothing has changed in my wallet since 2019, then the price is already quite high

Just a slight correction when Hell on Wheels went up in 2020:
Quote:
Pre-orders for the Harley Quinn: Hell on Wheels Premium Format™ Figure will begin on Thursday, January 30th between 12pm-3pm PST. The Exclusive Edition will be priced at $575 USD. The Collector’s Edition will be priced at $560 USD.
|
https://www.sideshow.com/blog/harley...format-figure/
At some point Sideshow had that site wide price increase where the price on all existing pieces went up. Does anybody else remember that?
Hence Hell on Wheels jumping from $560/$575 to $580/$590
Regardless of who’s fine or not fine with the price this new Harley PF clearly represents another general price hike. It’s clear when you look at the recent DC PF releases over 2024:
Harley $700
Batman Variant $690
Superman $725
Batman $690
Batgirl $710
Green Lantern $705
Harley is clearly the most basic of the last 5-6 releases (removed BvJ since it’s a double character PF). Comparing her to Batman Variant alone she should be less than $690. Her body is smaller, her base is way more basic, she’s a more straight forward paint job, she has less overall details and fewer parts. But why does she cost more? Price increase.
Some will be fine with this, some won’t, but it’s clear prices have jumped again. There’s always going to be an exceptions, like most frequently women and Star Wars, but overall ES is down. Some companies have already slowed production. The current prices aren’t sustainable in this economy and the ES is reflecting that.
