Yes indeed, meaning a full chrome repaint wouldn't do.

I'll definitely use those images for my source material...even looking at the proto's paint app it's off in some areas where chrome should be black.

those images are fantastic but I was looking at screenshots and it looks as if they changed some colors for the final version of the film

Yes, it's not unusual to see differences between the 3D model used for digital FX and the physical puppet.
Since this is the source material for the new design, I will base my repaint of my soon to be delivered Endo on these.

Finally, I received my endoskeleton today
I must be one of the last.
Mine is N°8/500
Great details and sculpture, I must say I'm very pleased with the paint job on the endo.
Not perfect but good enough and I can correct some of the issues, without going into a full repaint.
The gun on the other hand isn't that good, specially the weathering and those blueish tint on the barrel.
It will give me more work than the endo but no big deal.
Overall a great collectible, specially with the discount.
The box is in mint condition.

Yeah it's a pretty fair deal for $300 if you get one of the better ones, imo. I hope CC redeems themselves on the next one they do for the next movie, assuming it's a go. Maybe the studio will do them a favor and go back to the typical endo rifle, though. I'm sure we will see a future scene or more, one way or another. Merchandising! Merchandising!

After some basic repainting and keeping original body color, under different light conditions.

This statue is badass and really doesn't deserve some of the xtrem bashing we red here.
I'm proud to have this fine (and sadly unfairly underated) piece of death metal.

Great pics! I agree that the bashing got out of hand. It's not perfect, but it's not the absolute train wreck some people made it out to be.
