The Last Of Us - I'm halfway the season and so far I like it, but it doesn't meet the intensity of playing the game yourself. - 8/10

Mad Max. 7.5/10
It get points for nostalgia sure but the first installment of the series does a great job of telling a simple but entertaining story. The music by Brian May (not the guy from Queen) was pretty much perfect, one of the reasons any successful movie achieves greatness. One of those movies that I will re-watch time and again.

Flash - 5.5/10. Full disclosure - I love the Snyder DCEU films.
John Wick 4 - 6/10. No real showstopper sequences. Overkill of more of the same. Love Donnie Yen.

Stop Making Sense (1984) - Considered by critics as the greatest concert film of all time, the live performance was shot over the course of three nights at Hollywood's Pantages Theater in December of 1983 and features Talking Heads' most memorable songs.
I'm not even a Talking Heads fan, but I have to agree this is one of the best concert films I've ever seen. The new restoration looked and sounded incredible on an IMAX screen. 10/10

Mystic Pizza (1988) - Three teenage girls come of age while working at a pizza parlor in the Connecticut town of Mystic.
It's very 80s. The only reason, in my opinion, to watch this movie is to see many big-name actors in the very early stages of their careers--like Julia Roberts, Lili Taylor, Vincent D'Onofrio and Matt Damon. 5/10

The Creator - 6.5/10. Compelling topic, visual effects and sci-fi tech hobbled by too many contrived plot points and strange acting from Washington.

The Flash 7/10 - I finally watched this movie since it is now on HBO. Even though I feel that Ezra Miller was miscast, I feelhee did a very good job, especially playing the same character at two different ages. It was great seeing Micheal Keaton (and other Batmen). And yes, sometimes the special effects were great and other times they were not but I have to say I enjoyed it and would recommend it.
