You can buy every XM Marvel statue like always in europe. XM mention Europe: GHeroes under Official Retailer.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Well he went up, I P/0'd I like the look of it more "comicy". Minor gripes aside, he will hold up great for me.

Pretty cool piece, but I don’t understand why XM is in love with absolute Carnage. Bagley is where it’s at and they haven’t touched his version. Also, has XM ever done an era specific Spiderman? Every interpretation they do seems very generic and modern. There are so many Spiderman statues and dios out there. XM has got to bring more to the table with the character.

Is that still true for modern books? I always thought the same, no Peter tingle with symbiotes.

"The XM Spider-Man (Absolute Carnage) 1/4 Statue comes with a switchout Spider-Sense to display with or without. As the relentless threat inches closer, it?s warning him of various dangers from all around him. This is a dynamic piece depicting Spider-Man?s agility as he leaps through the door and races to escape from Carnage?s clutches. Will his agility and wits be enough to outsmart Carnage and emerge victorious from this deadly encounter?"

That's a great looking statue of Spider-man. However, the base is competing with the main subject here. Too much attention is paid to Carnage itself, IMO.

I guess they really enjoyed that story? From a creative standpoint I guess it inspired them.

For me as a comic book fan, the only reason why I?m here, and I mentioned this in one of the Dark Knights threads, there are a number of stories that are more beloved by fans that could serve well for statue lines
- Secret Wars
- Civil War
- Messiah Complex
- Dark Phoenix Saga
- Infinity Gauntlet

Etc, but I guess they gotta go with what inspires them artistically and what Marvel approves.

A classic 60s/70s Spider-Man with web pits and the old chest symbol would be cool. Sideshow did it as a faux bronze (without web pits) but nobody else has touched that version.

Yep, Romita with the web pits should be a no brainer, but XM always has to put modern twists on everything. I was very surprised that SS didn’t recycle that bronze statue. It would have also made a cool real bronze piece with a marble base.

Pictures on the prototype XM Spider-Man (Absolute Carnage) 1/4 Scale Statue at Bangkok Wonderfest 2023 by Art Statue Collector.

"The symbiote tendrils morph into deadly claws and menacing blades that extend with malevolent intent as they snake and extend their reach, seeking to ensnare Spider-Man. Will his agility and wits be enough to outsmart Carnage and emerge victorious from this deadly encounter?"
