The new portrait is definitely better. I too would have loved the smirk.
Side note: I watched her 1988 movie the other day, and it's a hoot!

I think this statue captures her personality way better.

While i am sure that Tweeterhead knows their stuff. Personally, i think the portrait looks longer than it should.
It might have something to do with the distance between the lower eye's and upper mouth.
Also, the black dress gap below the boobs looks longer on the Tweeterhead piece.
It still remains an excellent looking sculpt. The piece oozes quality.

I love the Mezo Toys concept. The portrait likeness looks a little off, it still manages to look very good.
There are some massive seams/gaps on the piece, presumably proto type issues.

I guess that's the other portrait, with a slightly different, less smile portrait.
I was expecting a bigger difference in the two portraits.
Mouth closed with her smirk/smile mouth would have worked better, in my humble opinion.
Out of the two, i guess the slight smile portrait looks the better, as the other one looks.. ?
I sense that Tweeterhead have pulled a MP Catwoman, and offered something collectors are not sure about.

I personally would have preferred that slight smirk of her's..
Also, for me that 2nd portrait is a bit off.

I think it's the mouth. Elvira's lips are thinner.

I have the coffin one, she is smilng, I have the TV one on order again smiling, 1st tweeterhead, smiling. Numerous figures smiling. So maybe the sultry one for variety is what I will do.

The likeness of the second portrait is off, unfortunately.
The eyes are good but the rest of the face belongs to someone else.
The first portrait is much better, in terms of likeness.

I need better pics of both to decide, since the other TH version we saw was a fairly mid quality image. But, on first glance, the TH portrait looks more accurate.
I find it quite disappointing that so little changed. If you're gonna do a separate/alternate portrait, it should've been something quite different, such as the closed mouth smile or a wink (but only if done correctly).
To be brutally honest, I don't see what took almost 4 years on this piece. She's sexy and well done, but the pose is very close to their old piece. The base is very uninspired and then you have two portraits, that are 90% identical, save for a slight change to the mouth.
