This is very inline with my past as well as current experiences with Moducase.
I have multiple orders with them right now.
My January 2022 order just came in last week. I have other orders from March of 2022 to July 2022 that i'm still waiting for.
Just like everyone else here, who owns Moducase, I can say I love the product.
But, the wait times are insane, IMO.

I bought mine 3rd party, April 1, 2022. I should hopefully be getting shipping updates soon. Shipping labels have been made but there is no telling what the lead up for shipping them out to me is.
I'll probably be ordering more in nov with the black Friday sales. Those corner units are just to good to pass up on having.
They talked about being able to increase production speed earlier this year. I don't know how true that is, must be an insane backlog and order list.

These stories are putting me off ordering, not only is it a lot of money but waiting 2 years isn't a great proposition

Purchase my first Moducase April 5, 2023, and I probably won't get it until April ,2024 by my estimates.

Although they serve the purpose, I think these cases are way over-priced for what they are.

Agreed. And with that lead time, you might as well have a custom cabinet maker come out and build on site.

I'm not sure if it's about location, or having a "hook up" or what, but I priced that out from 3 people here in San Diego, and it's expensive AF.

Neither are inexpensive, especially depending on what you want, but just saying if you are ok paying Moducase prices, then going custom built isnt a far stretch, at least not where I am at (Seattle area). I even had a custom closet company quote me on a buildout for that room. But, yeah, depending on where you are, that could be a limitation. I would think you would have plenty of options in SD though.

People wait years for statues. It's kind of the same deal. Treat a moducase like a statue. Otherwise open up a YouTube channel and custom build a statue setup and make a video every time you get LED lights or the base beams or the shelving or the paint or the nails nailed in or the glass put in like BatmanDorkCollector. Make 30 videos about it and monetize it.

what email address are you using? i sent to info@moduspace.sg that's listed on their website once every 3-4 months asking for a shipping update and have not gotten a single reply back.

It's quite disappointing how some of you are accepting this type of business practice that further encourages such bad behavior, i thought after pcs people would be more disgusted but guess not.
Even today, on their website right on top they are stating Sept 2023 orders will ship in Jan/Feb 2024, just like when I ordered in sept 2022, it said they will ship in Jan/Feb 2023. Just complete lies, last year's sept orders haven't even shipped yet!
