Black Cat's blue shimmer ...
FINALLY ... after half a dozen tries, I FINALLY got a blue shimmer that I'm actually happy with!!
Now I can FINALLY finish this piece!

I'm going to strip the kit down one last time ... the skin tone looked okay with black, but it looks wrong with blue.

So what did you finally end up doing?
I just take all kinds of pearlized blacks, blues and chrome from Createx and Tamiya, mix em all together and then add badger blue to it. Comes out the same thing you did and then just add some black shadows.
