DC Bombshells Statues General Discussion

Yup! Finally picked mine up today (although it actually arrived at my LCS on Wednesday). Really nice piece! Even the folks at my LCS (who open and inspect for damage) were in awe of it. They especially liked the detail of the torn stockings. The Tweeterhead Wonder Woman was much admired also, even though I got that one later than the online retailers.

Just curious —

What’s everyone’s least favorite bombshell/s? And why? Feel free to name up to 3.

Mine
1. Bumblebee (sorry, visible rods to me are a strict no-no)
2. Vixen (dislike the portrait; also can’t get past those “slits” on her left side. What are those? Gills?)
3. Cheetah (not a fan of the portrait)

Wow! I thought I was getting mine for a steal at $62 also on Amazon. Just some advice on that amazon seller though. They do not provide tracking with their shipment. Mine did arrive but 5 days later than predicted.

I agree — I thought Mera’s makeup was bad and her big smile reminded me of Joker. Got used to it after a while. Now I don’t think her portrait is that bad. Kinda reminds me of Tweeterhead’s Supergirl. Lol

Wonder Woman is one of my favorite characters, but I didn’t like the face on any of the WW Bombshells by DC so far. It’s too bad because the bombshell wondy from Cryptozoic and Funko are great!

Word of caution, several Bombshells statues are listed by European sellers. You may be dinged customs duties, which would add to the cost of the statue.

Oh. I didn’t see it was from a European dealer. Lol. I already have her. I was looking out for people who may not have her.

Yea. I still haven’t bought Mera. I keep saying I will if I get a really good deal. But she is soooo low on my list. BUT if I ever find an Aquaman. I guess I will have to get her.
