Exactly...no need to scrap a project because a few fans on a statue forum board do not like the sculpt.

Never thought I'd pass on Supergirl but here we go. A character as popular as her should've been a home run. Incredible like Power Girl, Wonder Woman, Catwoman. Not "okay" or "decent" or "kinda nice" but AMAZING. New arm and portrait would've saved it. I guess those will be saved for the cash grab variant. It's just frustrating but hopefully there's an extra head in development. Really curious how SG will be priced.

I agree, i personally think that the base is atrocious as well, i like the bottom of the base but those rocks/meteor or whatever it is kinda ruins it for me.

A sculpted cape on a statue that's barely attached to the base? That's a suicide, Superman leans with both feet on the base if anything, that cape looks super thin already.

Yeah, looks like it.
Still not crazy about her face or expression --looking a bit too old for a Supergirl perhaps.

Yeah, the Batman and Superman capes as good as they look are so unwieldy. The statue can bend because of their weight, not to mention the damage you risk on the paint trying to assemble it.
This coming from a fully sculpted fan... I am cool with fabric on 1/4 capes, cloaks, jackets, and coats.

From this angle her face looks like one of those 50 year old women who have had way too much plastic surgery.
