Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

We know that it's coming in 2015, so who is your ideal director candidate?

Mine is Peter Jackson or Steven Spielberg.

How about David Fincher?

I'm very excited about this. Hopefully with Star Wars in someone else's hands, we'll get something that's worthy of the title.

I would -love- to see Spielberg's take. Jackson and Fincher would be good too.

I'd love to see Joss Whedon's version, especially if the film is able to feature Han Solo again.

WHOO HOOOOOOO!
(cautiously optimistic...)

James Cameron might be interesting too, though he is immersed in his Avatar trilogy.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Joss Whedon, great with larger than life characters, Serenity proves that he can do a space syfy, the only problem is he will be busy with another film in 2015.

Which way is this going to go?

New characters? New actors playing the old favourites?

Who would play Han? Michael Fassbender or Nathan Fillion would be good shouts.
