For anyone who likes comparison pics (as I do), here are a few that I made of the prototype vs the production piece:

...This amazing statue can't arrive on my doorstep soon enough!

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Hand down one of my favorite face sculpts ever. Don't know how this one is so fantastic, and Psylocke turned out so poorly. The emotion on this one is visceral and amazing.

I don’t believe they’ve met in the comics, but these two ladies look aces together on my shelf...

Only two things I noticed between the prototype and production version. The face paint is better on the prototype (no surprise there) and for some reason the teeth look dirty (gritty) on the production version where as the teeth look clean on the prototype.

Other then that it looks like it came out great... congrats to those who got her...

I just picked up my box from FedEx and holding the top of the box I noticed it was damped. Opened the box and sure enough liquid stains on the corners of the lids, the long lids are wrinkly and the inside cardboard that protects the top of the artbox is also wrinkly (presuming from being wet and dried - well, still a bit damp). For once I am happy SS uses plastic bags. The art box seems ok. Will know more when I check the statue later.

Lol gotta love fighting that vacuum during the initial unboxing.

I'm happy that it seem undamaged by the water. That must've made for a heart-wrenching arrival. Let us know about the quality after unboxing. I'm hoping this one will be as well done as Rogue. I just unboxed her Friday and I've never seen SS nail the paint app this well.

X-MEN finally getting the love and attention they deserve!
