She's from Top Cow. In the same universe as Darkness, Witchblade, Angelus and Magdalena. Those have all been worldwide pieces so far.

I'm reading Darkness right now, but Athena hasn't appeared yet. I have to look for her right now
I put her right next to Angelus. Then all that's missing is Witchblade and Magdalena.
I've already thought about getting the XM Darkness. Then I would have them all together

She has her own separate comic. I don't know if she's ever appeared in Darkness.
