Did anyone read Image United?

Is anyone out there miffed they didn't even finish the run? I get it was supposed to be huge and flopped tremendously - but it was only supposed to be 4 issues! They didn't even bother putting all of those out!

Yeah the whole thing was kinda embarrassing for the company.
I guess it was kind of a logistical headache to have each parnter draw their own characters on each page but they probably shoulda thought of that.
Its apparantly still being worked on but its been what, four-five years?

actually wasn't it supposed to be six issues. That is my recollection. Then they gave us the zero issue to tide us over till we see the last three. Never see the light of day. Though who knows we are finally getting Captain America :White so hell might be freezing over

You're right - 6 issues, not 4. Shows how long ago it was - I totally forgot!

I just laugh because they tried to make this such a big deal about all the original creators drawing their characters into a story - but it's funny, out of the original creators there is maybe 2 that people actually care about anymore.

Image was supposed to show the big 2 how to run a comic universe with all the characters guest starring in each other's books while letting artists own their own creations and getting paid for each appearance - but it just proved that that model doesn't work.
