Ill start off with a couple of photos Id like to call group photos. Far from complete, but sometimes you just want to get some things out on display to enjoy!
An older grouping of a bit of everything to scratch that itch while stationed overseas.
My current Marvel Display.
Superman EX, 10/10 and the piece that really got me to fall hard into collecting. Green Arrow EX 10/10, love everything about the execution of this statue. DCD 1/4 Hal Jordan and Chip, 7/10. One of the better DCD pieces and I like it.
The pride of my collection, my westerns. Sideshow John Wayne from True Grit 10/10. Likeness is slightly dated but this has tremendous presence. Sideshow Wyatt Earp EX 9/10, only the slightly large hands bring it down a notch, Sideshow Doc Holliday 9/10 same issue as Wyatt, but easily overlooked. This one took me a long time to track down. Neca 1/4 Tonto 8/10, the likeness is great for a Neca piece. Neca 1/4 Lone Ranger 5/10 unlike Tonto, this one looks like a toy in the likeness department, but at least he won?t try to eat anybody.
More Marvel goodness as I have them currently. Ill talk about these pieces more in their individual shots.
Love that Gambit!
My Bond men. Connery 7/10, good likeness if not a bit of a caricature. You know who its supposed to be. Moore 8/10, my favorite Bond and the hardest statue to get in my collection. He has landed in many forever homes and very few come up. He has a bit of yellowing to his shirt, but given the time period he was Bond, I tack that up to the wacky 70s. Its a really good likeness, best of the three, and with a repaint would be spot on. Brosnan Bond 5/10, weakest of the three by far. Softest sculpt and paint. Have to kind of squint to get the likeness. Was my first Bond and easily acquired at a Comic Shop in Olympia.
