They look just as horrifying in the game. Heck most of the whole game does.

This is exactly what collectors are looking for. A line that goes two or three deep, with only the most popular, oft-made characters (Ryu, Akuma, Chun-Li). Sign me up.

Honestly though it's better than promising the impossible whether explicitly or implicitly.
Given today's circumstances what (current) collectors are looking for just isn't feasible.
One way or another previous collectors' dedication wane but there will always be new collectors.

Meh who cares how many they make. Just make someone else. There are other popular characters. Don't even start with Ryu next time.
